The Reverend Bill Stanfield is the Co-Founder and CEO of Metanoia Community Development Corporation, a faith-based movement committed to the Chicora/Cherokee area of North Charleston and the recipient of our current Charitable Giving Campaign. Established in 2003, Metanoia (“making a positive change”) invests in neighborhood assets to build leaders, establish quality housing and generate economic development. Bill, an Associate Minister of St. Matthew Baptist Church and the 2011 North Charleston Citizen of the Year, is a committed community leader and a compelling speaker.
